Question 934423: in working with a scale factor, what would be the dimensions of a cylinder whose height is 4.8 inches and diameter is 2.5 inches using a scale factor of 3. I tried just multiplying the cylinder height and width by 3 and made a model which appears proportionately way too large. Thanks

3 what? How are the unit arranged? If your results are too large, you would be misusing the scale factor, and would need the reciprocal. 3 inches per live units is different from 3 live units per inch.
