What is the length of wire cut into the ratio of 2:3:5 where the middle part is 7m?
:
let x = the multiplier
3x = 7
x = is the multiplier
Find the length of the other two segments
2* = = 4 m
5* = = 11 m
Find the total length
4 + 7 + 11 = 23 meters
