The formula for Circumference is C=+pi%2Ad+ or C=+2%2Api%2Ar. Since you want the radius, take the second equation:
C=+2%2Api%2Ar
132=+2%2A%2822%2F7%29%2Ar
132=+%2844%2F7%29%2Ar

To eliminate the fraction 44%2F7, multiply both sides by the reciprocal of the fraction which is 7%2F44 .
%287%2F44%29%2A%28132%2F1%29=%287%2F44%29%2A+%2844%2F7%29%2Ar
7%2A3+=+r

Did you notice that 44 divides into 132 exactly 3 times? That may make the calculation easier. Or just use a calculator. It comes out to an even 7*3= 21 yards.

radius of the circle = r = ?

c = 2.pi.r
132 = 2.22.r/7
132.7 = 44.r or r = 132.7/44 = 3.7 = 21 yds
radius of the circle = 21 yds
