There are two ways to solve this one. I think this is the easier of the two methods.
Let x = the complement
x-20 = the angle
The sum of the angle and its complement is 90 degrees.
x + x-20 = 90
2x = 110
x = 55 degrees (the complement)
x-20= 45 degrees (the angle)
It checks since 55+45 = 90 degrees.
