You have 9/16. [Reasonableness check: this is just over half, so you would expect something like .55]
What you have is 9%2F16=x%2F100
Can you solve for x?
9+%28100%29%2F16+=+x [multiplying both sides by 100]
Calculate this out and you get 56.25 [well,that's what I got!]
That means x is 56.25 and the percentage is 56.25/100.
