The ratio can be reduced to 3:1
then
3x = the length
and
1x = the width

x^2 + (3x)^2 = 36^2
x^2 + 9x^2 = 1296
10x^2 = 1296
x^2 = 1296/10
x^2 = 129.6

and
3(11.342) = 34.1526" is the length
