Answer by Seutip(231)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x -be the width
3x-2 -be the length
P=2w+2x
52=2x+2(3x-2)
52=2x+6x-4
52=8x-4
48=8x
x=6
Width =6 ft
Length =16
A=lw
A=(6ft)(16ft)
A=96 sqft.
Hopethat helps!
