The area of a rectangle is 162 feet squared. 

If the length is twice the width , what is the length? length 



Area = lw = (2x)x

       2x^2 = 162ft^2

        x^2 = 81 ft^2

         x = 9 ft the width  (tossing out negative solution for unit measure
