Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A square with perimeter of 24cm
will have a side of 24/4 = 6cm.
Area of square = length * width.
As all sides same length with a square
Area = 6 * 6 = 36cm^2
................
The rectangle having an area of
36cm62
Area of rectangle = Length * width
36cm^2 = 9cm * x cm
9x = 36
x = 4cm
Width of rectangle = 4cm.
Hope this helps.
