The moulding will go around the outside of the window so you need to find the distance around the outside or the perimeter.
Perimeter = 5 + 5 + 8 + 8 = 26 feet.
(In reality she would need a slightly longer length so the moulding would form a neat corner rather than stopping level with the window corner leaving a square( the width of the actual moulding) gap at each corner.)
