Question 767393: a box has dimensions of 9" by 8" by 3". what is the side of a cube with the same volume?

Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Volume = length*width*height
Volume = 9*8*3
Volume = 216ins^3
Volume of cube = length*width*height
As length=width=height
Area of cube = Side^3
216 = Side^3
Side = Cube root of 216
Side = 6ins.
Hope this helps.
