Question 763223: The volume of a cube is 343 cm^3. Find the volume of a second cube if the length of its edge is half of the length of the first cube's edge.
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Volume of a cube = 343cm^3
Side = Cube root 0f 343cm^3
Side = 7cm
Half the length of 7cm
= 3.5cm
Volume of second cube =
3.5^3 = 42.88cm^3
Hope this helps.
