Question 759247: find the area of a sector of a circle, given the radius is 46mm and whose central angle is 120 degrees. use pi 3.14
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Angle/360 = area of sector/Pi r^2
120/360 = area of sector/Pi * 46^2
Cross multiply
Area of sector = 120 * 3.14* 46^2/ 360
Area of sector = 2214.8 mm^2
Hope this helps.
