Consider a right angled triangle:
Upright side = 120 metres
Base side = 90 metres
The diagonal path is the hypotenuse
120^2 + 90^2 = hypotenuse^2
14400 + 8100 = hypotenuse^2
Hypotenuse^2 = 22500
Hypotenuse = square root of 22500
Hypotenuse = 150 metres
This is the length of the pathway.
