Question 746455: the lunch room has a perimeter of 300 feet the length of the room is 85 feet what is the width not sure how to figure this out.
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A perimeter consists of 2 identical lengths
and two identical widths.
Therefore 300 ft - (2 x 85 feet)
= 130 ft.
Divide 130 feet by 2 = 65 feet (the width)
