Question 710513: the sum of the measures of two adjacent angles is 180 degress. the difference in their measures is 15 degress. what are the measures of both angles
Answer by vheroli(126) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solution:
180-15=165 : Disregard the difference of 15 first.
165/2= 82.5 : Divide it by 2 since you are comparing 2 angles
Therefore:
Angle 1= 82.5
Angle 2= 82.5
Now we will add their difference of 15 that we disregard earlier to either angles.
Angle 1= 82.5+15=97.5
Angle 2= 82.5
Answers:
Angle 1= 97.5 degrees
Angle 2= 82.5 degrees
