|\ You have an adjacent side of a right triangle in the telephone pole: 55 ft.
You have a hypotenuse of a right triangle in the guy wire: 80 ft
cosine=adjacent/hypotenuse


Put that in your calculator and make sure you're in degree mode.
Round to the nearest degree.
