if seven items are sold.
Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X REPRESENTS THE NUMBER OF ITEMS SOLD
THUS REPLACING X BY 7 IN THIS CASE WE GET
P=-7/2+75 NOW WE DIVIDE -7 BY 2 AND GET -3.5
P=-3.5+75 NOW WE SUBTRACT THE 3.5 FROM 75 AND WE GET
P=71.5 WHICH IS THE PRICE WHEN 7 UNITS ARE SOLD.
