First you have A blueprint for a fence has a scale of 1:40. The fence in the blueprint is 6in. What is the length of the actual fence?
You would do 6*40=240 feet
which gives you 240feet but you have to change it into inches. there are 12 inches in a feet.
240/12= 20inches is the correct answer
