Hi,
the length of a rectangle is 4 centimeters less than three times its width.
If the area is 55 square centimeters, find the length and width
x(3x-4) = 55
3x^2 - 4x - 55 = 0
(3x + 11)(x-5) = 0
x = 5, throwing out the negative solution for unit of measure
width is 5 and length is 11
