Question 617640: Fhe distance between the lines y=2x, and y=3x+2 ????
a. write the equation of the perpendicular line with y int. =2.
b. solve the system of equations with this line and y=2x
c. use distance formula to find the distance between the two lines.
Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The question doesn't make sense. These 2 lines have
different slopes, so they must intersect.
The lines have to be parallel in order to find a distance
between them. Are you sure you copied the equations
right?
