If one-fourth of the complement of an angle plus one-fifth of the supplement of the angle equals 36 degrees, find the measure of the angle.
-----------
Let the angle have measure "x".
EQUATION:
(1/4)(90-x)+(1/5)(180-x)=36
22.5-0.25x+36-0.2x=36
58.5-0.45x=36
-0.45x=-22.5
x=50 degrees
