a triangle has an area of 45cm2 and a base of 5 cm.what height corresponds to this base?
Since the area for any triangle is:
(1/2)bh
where
b is length of base
h is length of height
.
Let h = height
then
45 = (1/2)(5)h
90 = (5)h
18 cm = h
