Given:
V=1000
s=s
Plug them into your formula, V=s%5E3:
1000=s%5E3 Take the cubed root of both sides.
\3/(1000)=\3/(s%5E3)
\3/(10*10*10)=s
\3/10%5E3=s
10=s
s=10 cm
