width of the window = w
hence according to the question
h = 0.80*w -------I
perimeter = 2(h+w) = 162"
putting h from eq. I
2(.8*w + w)=162
or 2*1.8*w = 162
or w = 162/3.6 = 1620/36 = 45"
hence h = .8*45 = 36"
