: Here we go again. How would I determine what the angles are if the differnce of their measure is 10 degrees?
Here's the problem:
One of the angles of a triangle has a measure of 40 degrees. Find the measures of the other two angles if the difference of their measures is 10 degrees.

Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
40+x+(x+10)=180 or 40+2x+10=180 or 2x+50=180 or 2x=180-50 or 2x=130 or x=130/2 or x=65 therefore the other angle x+10=65=10=75 thus 40+65+75=180 or 180=180
