Question 532415: A square with width of 6ft and length 5ft; What is the perimeter and area of the rectangle? Can you show me how to work out the area of this problem ?
---
I have already tried the perimeter, could you tell me if this is right?
---
perimeter: l=length=5ft w=width=6ft
5+6+5+6=22ft
p=2L+2W=2(5)+2(6)=10+12=22ft

Answer by Don Malabag(3)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P=2L+2W
P=2(5 ft)+2(6ft)
P=10ft +12 ft
P=22 ft.
A=LxW
A=(5ft)(6ft)
A=30ft^2
