Question 51165: How can you divide a segment or an angle into two equal parts?
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Using a compass you place the point of the compass on the vertex
and sketch small arcs on each side of the angle you wish to bisect.
You then place the point of the compass on successively oneach of the
arcs and draw intersecting arcs in the interior of the angle thus
establishing a point of intersection of the two arcs.
You then draw a line through that point of intersection and the vertex
of the angle. The line will bisect the angle into two equal angles.
