Question 468391: 1. Where do I find the "ask a question" part of the site without searching it?
2. How exactly do I put this into a problem: "An angle is 25° less than the measure of its complement. What is the measure of the smaller angle?
"
Note: Please do NOT solve the problem. Don't even work it out because I need to try solve it myself. All I need you to do unless of course I find out I do need help (in which case I will ask for help in another question) is for you to write the problem out and tell me what exactly does "the measure of its complement" mean. And yes I am aware that a complement is the sum of all the angles to become 90 degrees.

Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"An angle is 25° less than the measure of its complement. What is the measure of the smaller angle?
:
Let x = the angle
then
(90-x) = it's complement
:
With this we can write an equation for the statement:
""An angle is 25° less than the measure of its complement."
x = (90-x) - 25
Find x
