Question 455755: A rectangular field has 6km. Perimeter and 2 sq.km area. What will be the difference between length and breath of the rectangle?
Answer by simranb(63)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area=l*b
perimeter=2(l+b)
l*b=2 --eq-1
2(l+b)=6 --eq-2
In equation no-1
l*b=2
l=2/b
Substitute this value into equation no-2
2(l+b)=6
After Substituting l=2/b
2(2/b+b)=6
2=6
=6
4+=6b
=6b-4
