A rectangle is a plane figure. It has no height and no volume.
You might say its height = 0 and its volume = 0, but you can't say its volume is 96.

Rectangles are 2-dimensional and don't have volume. If it was a "rectangular prism," we still wouldn't have enough information to solve the problem.
