Question 41398: The volume of a box is 2p^4 + 17p^3 + 21p^2. The height is p, and the width is p + 7. What is the length?
Answer by rajagopalan(174) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The volume of a box is 2p^4 + 17p^3 + 21p^2.
The height is p,
width is p + 7.
height*width =p(p+7) =(p^2+7p)
the length = volume/(height*width)
= 2p^4 + 17p^3 + 21p^2/(p^2+7p)
=2p^2+3p
okay!
