Question 33494: Hi. Here is a problem I am having trouble with:
Two cubes have sides of lengths 4 cm and 6 cm, respectively. What is the ratio of their volume?
Thanks for your help!

Answer by mszlmb(115)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
since they're cubes, their volumes are, respectively, 4*4*4 (lwh) and 6*6*6
the ratio of their volumes are therefore 4^3:6^3, simplifies to 64:216
/2;32:108;16:54;8:27. their simplified ratio is 8:27
