Hello,
First we need to find the area which is 5525 Sq ft. So the new area will be
6525 sq ft.
Let x be the number of feet to increase the width. Now we can write an equation to be:
91(65+x)=6525
Expand this out to:
5915+91x=6525
Subtract 5915 from sides to get:
91x=610
Now Divide both sides by 91:
x=6.7 feet (rounded off)
OK, the new measurement is:
91 ft by 71.7 ft.
Make sense?
