36= l(w+4) Wrong equation
--------------------------
L=W+4
36=2L+2W iS THE PERIMETER FORMULA.
36=2(W+4)+2W
36=2W+8+2W
36=4W+8
4W=36-8
4W=28
W=28/4
W=7 ans. for the width.
L=7+4=11 ans. for the length.
Proof:
36=2*11+2*7
36=22+14
36=36
