Question 294615: what is the height of a triangle whose area is 4 square meters and whose base is 2.5 meters
Answer by TakeishaM(13)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A = (1/2) x base x height
You know A = 4
B = 2.5
Now plug in the values into the equation
4 = (1/2) x 2.5 x H
4 = 1.25 x H
Divide both sides by 1.25 to get height by itself
(4/1.25) = (1.25 x H)/1.25
3.2 = H
The height of the triangle is 3.2 meters
