A ranger in fire tower A spots a fire at a direction of 32°. A ranger in fire tower B, which is 22 miles directly east of tower A, spots the same fire at a direction of 58°. How far from tower B is the fire? (Hint: Draw a picture of this one.)

This is a poorly worded problem which has no solution as it's presented.
----------------
The only way it could be solved is if the angles are measures with respect to the 22 mile line between the 2 stations. That's not what it stated, it says the 32º and the 58º are directions.
------------------------
If the 2 angles are wrt to the 22 mile line between A and B:
It's a right triangle, so the distance from B to the fire is 22*sin(32)
=~ 11.66 miles
