The pair is supplementary, so they add up to 180, therefore
(180-x) = one angle
:

therefore we can write it like this and solve for x:
(180-x) = 2x + 24
180 - 24 = 2x + x

x = 52 degrees is the other angle
then
180 - 52 = 128 degrees is "one angle"
