Question 270352: I have a square garden with an area of 121 sq ft. How many fencing would i need for one side? How about for the perimeter?

Answer by Stitch(470)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area = L*W
Since it is a square, the length and width are the same
So
Take the square root of both sides

You need 11ft for 1 side.
Perimeter of a square = 4*L

You need 44ft for the whole perimeter
