Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
e+w+n=1
1/2+1/3+n=1
n=1/6
3/6+2/6=5/6
1-5/6=1/6
Caught me again Ed.
100*1/6=percentage
However getting the percentage is much easier than the other tutor suggests.
Just divide 100 by 6 and the result is the percent.

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20055)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

The question was "WHAT PERCENTAGE". The other tutor answered
it as though the question had asked "WHAT FRACTION?"

First change to a decimal by dividing the denominator into the
numerator, like this, writing a decimal and two zeros after the 1

   .16
6)1.00
    6
    40
    36
     4

So after reducing to you have

That's the decimal value. Now move the decimal
two places to the right making it invisible and
put on a and the final answer is

Edwin
