Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
L=2W+1
2L+2W=86
2(2W+1)+2W=86
4W+2+2W=86
6W=86-2
6W=84
W=84/6
W=14 ANS. FOR THE WIDTH.
L=2*14+1=28+1=29 ANS. FOR THE LENGTH.
PROOF:
2*29+2*14=86
58+28=86
86=86
