Question 203929: I need you favour about this:
The area of a trapezoidal field is 1400 km^2. Its altitude is 50m. Find the two bases, if the number of meters in each base is an integer divisible by 8. Find the number of solutions to this problem.
I considered (a+b)50=1400
thus: a+b=56
but I don't know about the rest!!!

so far so good.
You are told that both a and b are divisible by 8, so let the possible set of lengths for a and b are [8,16,24,32,40,48]
Now you just need to pair things up
8,48
16,40
24,32
32,24
40,16
48,8
