Jeremy has a fish tank that has a 40-cm by 70-cm rectangular
base. The water is 25 cm deep. When he drops rocks
into the tank, the water goes up by 2 cm. What is the volume
in liters of the rocks?
---------------------
The volume of the rocks is 40 by 70 by 2 cms. The depth of the water is irrelevant.
40*70*2 = 5600 cc, or 5.6 liters
