Hard to explain where to get the answer from, but I'll try.
Lets start by using a rectangle. We know perimeter is:
And area is:
Some quick algebra gets you 2, 1.5. So a rectangle with sides 2 and 1.5.
For the next, let's assume a right triangle.
Not as easy, but conveniently I know that there is a 3-4-5 triangle, which adds to 12, and .
So, a 3-4-5 right triangle.
