A bug, located at one of the bottom corners of the box, must crawl along the outside of the box to reach the opposite bottom corner. What is the length of the shortest such path?

use the pathaorean theorem using the highth as one of the legs and the diagonal of the face as the other leg.......the distance your looking for is the hypothenuse. lets call the distance we are looking for D
