For any right-angled triangle, the median drawn from the right angle 
to the hypotenuse, is equal to half of the hypotenuse.


Therefore, in the given triangle the hypotenuse length is 2*30.5 = 61 cm.


It implies that the other leg length is  =  = 60.


Thus the legs are 60 cm and 11 cm long;  therefore, the area of triangle ABC is

     = 30*11 = 330 cm^2.


ANSWER.  The area of triangle ABC is 330 cm^2.
