Question 1195599: If a right triangle has 2 side lengths measuring 11 and 28 how would I find a missing angle?
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20054)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

If it looks like the above, and you want angle A then on your TI-84
calculator, press 2ND TAN 28/11 so that you see this:

tan-1(28/11)

press ENTER

Write down what you see and put a degree mark o after it.
That will be angle A.

If you then want angle B, subtract angle A from 90o.

If it looks like the above, and you want angle A, then on your TI-84
calculator, press 2ND COS 11/28 so that you see this:

cos-1(11/28)

press ENTER

Write down what you see and put a degree mark o after it.
That will be angle A.

If you then want angle B, subtract angle A from 90o.
