Question 1116653: This question relates algebra and geometry.
The problem has a rectangle. It is divided into four - seemingly unequal - sections. The smallish section in the top right has an area of "24a^2*b^4*c". The area next to it has an area of "36a^3*b^5*c". The third labeled section has an area of "40a*b^4". Then there is a large shaded section (making 4 sections altogether).
The problem says "Rectangle ABCD is separated into four smaller rectangular regions. write an expression to represent the area of the shaded region.
