The sum of the two angles is 180°. Their difference is 70°. Find the angles.
Let larger be L, and smaller, S
We then get: L + S = 180 -------- eq (i)
L - S = 70 ------ eq (ii)
2L = 250 ------- Adding esq (i) & (ii)
