Question 1078726: The angle of depression of point X on the ground from the top of the hill is 61° 48. If the distance of the point from the hill is 35m, calculate the height of the hill.

The angle of depression is 61.8 degrees (assuming 61 deg 48 m), the opposite side is the height of the hill and the adjacent side is the distance to the point.
tan 61.8=height/35
height=35 tan 61.8=65.27 m.
